In Greek mythology, Persephone was the goddess of spring and rebirth, as well as the queen of the underworld. When she was brought to the underworld by Hades, her mother, Demeter, the source of all life on earth, left the world barren and cold until her daughter was allowed to return to earth. When Persephone returned to earth, she found that the bees of the earth had made a special kind of beeswax for her in her absence.

These bees made beeswax from the nectar of flowers that was not only beautiful, but also had the power to heal and protect. Persephone considered these beeswaxes her treasures, representing her strong connection to the natural world and the cycle of life. These beeswaxes were later discovered as beeswax and were cherished as gifts of nature and sacred protective charms.

Beeswax is a type of amber known for its translucent to opaque properties and rich colors. It is usually formed over 40 to 50 million years ago, or even more than 100 million years ago, and has undergone long geological processes and the vicissitudes of nature.
