The ancient Greeks believed that wearing a Moonstone could receive the protection of the moon goddess, especially during voyages at sea and travels at night, the Moonstone could bring light and safety.

In medieval Europe, moonstone was regarded as a mystical gemstone and was said to be able to predict the future, especially on the night of the full moon, when the stone’s precognitive powers would be at their peak. Knights believed that wearing moonstones enhanced their courage and wisdom, helping them to win in battle. Also considered a symbol of loyalty and purity, moonstone was one of the favorite gemstones of nobles and royalty.
